Nobel Peace Prize Celebration

Where - At Goodman Community Center; 149 Waubesa St. Madison, 53704

When - December, 13, 2008 from 5pm until Midnight. (If you want to you can come in ealier)

Admission - $15 admission per person at the door for all who pay WTA membership fees. $20 admission

per person for people who do not pay WTA membership fees. Children 6 years old and

under free admission. Also un-employed senior citizens free admission.

There will be drinks and alcohol on sale.

Talent Contest - There will be a talent contest. 1st Prize = $75, 2nd Prize=$50, 3rd Prize =$30

We will collect participant names 2 weeks before the get-together.

On 12/13/08 we will have Balloons and 'Khata' at the Point of Atwood Ave. and Waubesa St.

We will also put Balloons and 'Khata' at Goodman Community Center to make it

easier for people not to miss both these points.

Driving directions to Goodman Community Center

a)From West side - take Beltline East. Exit John Nolen Dr towards downtown - from John Nolen Dr. take a right

onto Williamson St. all the way to Atwood Avenue. Turn left on Waubesa St.(opposite BP Gas station).

b)From Middleton/University Avenue - Go east on University Avenue onto Johnson St- turn right on 1st St.- go straight

Turn left on Williamson St to Atwood Ave- Left on Waubesa St. (opposite BP Gas Station)

c)From East Washington - Go towards State Capitol on East Washington-turn left on 1st St.- go straight - turn left

on Williamson St. - Atwood Ave - left on Waubesa St. (Opposite BP Gas Station)

d)From Thompson St. - Go on Thompson St. to HWY 30 - Go West toward Madison on HWY 30 - Exit Fair Oaks Ave.

Turn left on Fair Oaks (south)Turn right on Atwood Ave - Right on Waubesa St. (opposite BP Gas Station)

e)From Stoughton Rd /Monona Dr. - if you are on South Stoughton Rd you can take

Cottage Grove Rd or Buckeye Rd or Pflaum Rd or Broadway or Beltline West towards Monona Dr- right on Monona Dr towards Olbrich Gardens

Monona Dr becomes Atwood Ave-Turn right on Waubesa St. (opposite BP gas station)
